JB4 Questions

Hi, I was curious about the JB4. I was going to get HKS spark plugs, ark secondary down pipes, and injen short ram intakes. In Calgary I’m limited to 91 octane. How many maps am I limited to on the jb4? Also do they go by mods, or by octane?

For lower grade fuel usually map1 or map2 is used, higher maps would be reseved for octane booster, race gas, or E85 mixtures.

Just your JB4 and .022 plugs gap. Make the engine breathe better with intakes and exhaust. Want to keep boosting? Upgrade your fmic for cooler iat.

I see! So I don’t need to be maps 3 and above to upgrade my intercooler, good to know. I wanted to make sure I can have those mods with the jb4 taking full advantage of them. I’ll probably go with the plugs, intakes, secondary downpipes, and intercooler, and stick with map 2 and 91 octane
