Hey guys, I have a 2020 3.3 GT2 with Ultimate Performance down and mid pipes installed and well as the UP intercooler with 3” cold side pipe. After installing the intercooler my service engine light came on and showed both 02 sensors were tripped. I was running Map 3 at the time. I also have HKS plugs gapped to 22. I took the JB4 out and haven’t had any issues. I’m wondering if I should just scrap the JB4 and send my ECU to torx instead and get their 2nd tuned ECU. This way I’ll be able to swap out ECU’s for dealership visits. What are your thoughts?

As to the tuning questions you have another thread already?

As to flash mapping swapping the ECU doesn't escape detection. It's a myth spread by those trying to sell second ECUs. With a flash map true torque and load are still stored on the transmission computer and stability control computer. Swapping the ECU won't erase those. Furthermore the dealership can tell the ECU was replaced and put back by looking at mileage to ECU reconciliation events with the KOMBI.

Terry, do you do dyno tuning at your shop? You’re not that far from me. I’d be happy to bring my car to you if this is a service you provide.

No we don't offer any labor services, sorry
