Here is some information from Burger Tuning.

o Map 0: Standard Stinger mode
o Map 1: 3psi over standard mode
o Map 2: 4psi over standard mode
o Map 3: User-Adjusted setting with "boost safety"
o Map 4: Standard Stinger mode with logging
o Map 5: Under Development
o Map 6: Under Development
o Map 7: Under Development

I'm assuming it's some sort of cut off system once limits are reached on the chip or sensors.
