Hey does anybody know much about the JB4 tuner with fuel wires using Map 6? I have k&n panel filters and a straight through magnaflow exhaust muffler system. I have been getting turbo over speed since I installed the mufflers, like it's not getting enough back pressure and the turbos are spooling up to easily.I updated the firmware to 21-17-5 yesterday and this morning on the way to work installed map 6 with the lower RPMs at 5 psi tapering to 4. also max turbo safety at 21 psi instead of the 24 that map 6 was set at.

Post up a log and we can help you on the tuning side. If getting over boosting add in the EWG connectors so we can directly adjust WGDC.

This is a log of turbo over speed while running map 6 and custom boost pressures at RPM at 6 psi and then tapering to 5 then 4 and on down to 2.6 for 7,000 rpm.

Hey Terry, I've included the map zero, map two the map six I'm currently running and a previous firmware map 2 that was my best zero to 60 of 4.6 seconds. Thx for the help

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It's making a lot of boost on map0 but that is probably also due to the higher intake temps. Are you able to get the over boost condition on map2?

Absolutely yes on map two. That's where it originally occurred at and it seemed like it always happened in either first or second gear when I was taking off from a stop sign and turning or one time when I was Entering an on ramp in second gear at w o t. I actually got an engine light that wouldn't clear and took it to the local AutoZone and had them read the code which said turbo over speed. This turbo over speed only started after I had a much freer flowing exhaust muffler system installed. Denso plugs are gapped at 0.022.

Probably the best fix is to just add in EWG connectors to lower base WGDC.
