So I took my stinger out on its first road trip and it did great on the way there. It sat in below freezing weather for two days and then it was time to head back home. It started fine but the CEL was on and then I realized it was limp mode and was not putting out any boost at all. I read the code and it was P0237 which states “detects that the intake boost pressure sensor voltage falls below specifications. This may be due to a short in the wiring.” I drove the entire time home in limp mode because my goal was just to get home. When I got home I unplugged the JB4 and unplugged the battery and the car went back to normal. The only thing that I think made the CEL come on was the biggest sleeved wire of the JB4 was melted, so do you think that was the main culprit? If so, do I just need to get another JB4?

The JB4 intercepts the MAP & TMAP sensor signals, which seem like likely candidates for that P0237 code. Is the "biggest sleeved wire" going to one of those, or are you talking about the connection to something else like the ODB plug or fuel/O2 wires?

If it's just a small melted spot, you could cut out that section and rejoin them (with a good crimp/solder joint and heat shrink tubing). You'll also want to see why it melted, and route it to avoid a recurrence.
