2. im on map 6 all the time but sometime after wot jb4 disconnect and reconnect automatically and map changed to map8.
is it only me or any of you guys experience? any solution? or just leave it like that since it has nothing to do with performance?

Please provide a log. You should set the jb4 to log when throttle is >80%, that way you can always catch the event.
I have seen messages from another forum user having the same thing happen, and pretty sure he is overboosting (has a pretty aggressive tune from SXTH, jb4 log shows 27lbs boost) and the jb4 is going to map 8 (Valet mode) as a safety precaution.

Yeah that was me. I updated to latest firmware (29.hex) and it hasn't happened since.

No issues with FW 29? I might upgrade mine.

No my issue is with the JB4 EWG wires. According to Sxth, the JB4 permanently adjusts the wastegate values in the ECU and causes overboost when you run a flashed ECU tune. The only solution according to him is a new ECU. He will not tune anymore cars that have had EWG wires.

That isn't true, the JB4 EWG connections doesn't change the wastegate calibrations, and if they did, you could recalibrate them. But if you've got an EKP already just contact us for our JB4 back end flash map. It's been working very well with JB4 tuned cars with and without EWG connections.

I did Terry. We've been emailing each other about over the last week. So far it's working well and my timing seems back to normal.
