Hello All,

Need some input for all those that have the JB4 with fuel wires installed. If I run MAP 2 what parameter do i have to set to get the benefit of the fuel wires...can some explain or take a screen shot of what i have to do. I heard that you have to set up the fuel bias?? can someone help ??

It’s all clearly defined on the Stinger thread on the N54 forum. My suggestion is to dive in on that site.

My understanding from Terry’s explanations is that the left column is for map 6 and that only controls boost for map 6.

Fuel bias applies to all maps. Just put his settings in the center column and it will work on map 2, too.

Here's what mine looks like. If yours doesn't have a column for fuel bias settings you need to update your firmware.

Those look like the old fuel bias settings.

Per Terry’s V4 update he shows new values. Below are the most current settings from his N54 thread.

Ho about WOT threshold 70% is the default setting , do you leave that untouched or do you put it at like 90 or 100 ???

Sorry that’s beyond me, but the last “how to” video on that page shows an easy way to get & install the latest version. That way you know for sure.

Sorry, I'm not sure. I always take pics of my settings before updating to a new FW so it's possible that those settings are from V3.

Unfortunately I can't verify because all octane above 87 is extinct thanks to this storm so I had to remove my JB4.

As far as which version you're running it's on the same screen as which map you're running. It'll be on the right side. But it won't just say "version 4". It will be something like "10/4/8" (not those exact numbers). The middle number (the "4" in this example) will be which firmware you're on.

Why remove? Just click it on map0 to disable, or map4 for VALET mode, less boost than stock. On 87 octane i'd run map4.

I use my laptop to adjust it. So I would have had to drag my old ass upstairs to grab my computer, connect it, make the changes, and go back up.

Also, this was done at 4 in the morning. I woke up extra early to find fuel because there was none the night before. So I didn't want to wake anyone in the house up by stomping around, opening and closing doors, etc.

It was just easier to just remove it.

I put 6 gallons of 93 in it earlier today. I should be back up and running next weekend.

Ah.. Time for JB4 mobile! You can use an OTG cable if you don't want to buy the bluetooth adapter. :)
