I am not really sure how to ask this question, but here goes.......

There is a lot of info on the JB4. Most of what I have seen is optimizing performance for 100% pedal position and wide open throttle (WOT) for best 1/4 mile and 0 - 60.

What is the map like for partial pedal position. In the past I have had an Audi A6 2.7T with an APR tune and there was a noticeable increase in torque at lower RPM's and partial throttle. I found this desirable. My concern is if I need to be at full pedal (WOT), the transmission will kick down and I will be at the high end of the RPM range all of the time (which is great for racing). In addition, I would love a tune that allows me to enjoy the increased torque while staying in a higher gear and lower rpm.

What is increased performance like a less that full pedal position and WOT?

More specifically, what is the boost increase (tq, hp increase) by pedal position and RPM?

25% pedal = ?
50% pedal = ?
so on,....

Not sure if this question makes sense...

On the default setting boost is applied proportionally as a function of pedal input. And you can control the pedal input gain to a degree with the Stinger "mode" selection. If you find you want even mode gain then check out the BMS Pedal tuner.

I use WOT sparingly and I can assure you that I (and my entire family!) notice a marked improvement in the cars performance at partial throttle. This improves, as Terry noted, by engaging Sport mode.

Thanks for the responses. This answers my question (the tune impacts a broad range of driving conditions) and then creates the second question.
I am wondering what other people's opinion of the 'quality' of the tune at non-WOT are. I ask this because most of the logs posted for verification are at WOT. Wondering if people experience any issues (misfire, hesitation, etc.) at less than WOT?

(I don't have any reason to believe there are problems, just haven't seen much conversation about this. Most of the conversation are about optimizing 1/4 mile or 0 - 60)

Thanks,

It's pretty good. We have a linear pedal input setting (options bit7) in the latest v10 firmware that we designed specifically for people who prefer a more linear part throttle experience. So you can play around with that setting once installed and see if you prefer it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Bluff I can assure you that the JB4 gives you great drivability without being WOT....this tune gives you power at all throttle positions....the power band is smooth from idle on up....:) Wash
