The best you can do with the stock fuel system is E30. 40 litres Shell 93 to 20 litres E85 will get you there. With that you’ll be good for map 3. If you have clean logs there you can try map 4. I’m currently running that mix with no issues.

And whats your daily fuel you use or is this your go to constantly now? Just alot of mixed opinions out there. Also reading lastnight that a tank of 93 on map 2 would be a good test aswell to ease into Map 3/4.

I generally run Shell 93 which usually shows good logs on map 2, but not always, the odd time I will get corrects to 4-4.5 which I attribute to poor octane gas. When I have reason to go into New West I stop by the Flying J and mix to approx. E30. As the weather gets warmer I seem to find more occasions to drive into New West when I need fuel. Cheers

On a related note, I’m considering a JB4 purchase but my local fuel options seem to tap out at 92 Octane, the most economical of which is Costco. Assuming I install better plugs (and properly gap them) as part of the JB4 install, what map(s) are Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS) for 92?
Thread fork: actually joking, are you certain of that? (I'm not looking to start a holy war, but there are a lot of opinions about this topic, but not many I've seen think Costco gas is any different -- let alone inferior -- to any other Top Tier fuel out there).
Oilers are looking pretty good must be pretty exciting around there. I bet there’s a lot of smiling faces about with disposing of the smell from the south so quickly.
