It’s now official!

Though not my first post here, it is the starting of a new adventure. I announce that I am now an official member of the Kia Singer Owner’s Society.

I am the proud owner of a 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 RWD in HiChroma Red w/Napa Black interior.
It it a January 2018 build. It had 8 miles on it and was completely covered in film when I saw it in the storage lot. I was the first and only non-dealer driver. It was prepped, tested and delivered with 12 miles. It hadn’t been VIN etched yet by the dealer and as part of negotiations was offered to not have it done saving a $450 not wanted option. That was the only dealer add-on they do so it was a savings of a sort. I did the discussed here lease and then buy deal with the Costco price yielding about $8k off sticker. I’ll buy it out in October so the dealer doesn't get stuck on the rebate. Kia Glendale, CA was the dealer and I was treated about as well as any dealer (CarMax) has ever treated me. Elias was my sales rep and a very nice guy. Highly recommended.

One of the pictures is the changing of the guard. Saying bye for now (today I take the Crosstour to CarMax) to my Honda. It was a very good car but...Stinger!

Congratulations on your brand new Stinger GT! I know the Crosstour was a good vehicle - but the Stinger GT is just in a different league. Enjoy the heck out of it!

It’s just, damn, I had so much stuff in the hidden trunk on the CT I have a shopping cart full of stuff to relocate. Not in the car for most of it. I can’t even put reusable shopping bags under the floor. LOL. I’ll get used to it.

Wow, what a beauty! The US red is way better than the Australian red as it’s more sparkly! Look after her and go out and spend a bit on cleaning stuff which is top notch. Welcome to the family!
