Thank you for pointing this out. I’m going to visit carmax on Monday, I found pictures I took at the dealership to show it was indeed missing then. It was there in the listing so it must have been lost in shipping from CA to OR

Whatever happened to it, they should at least replace it being a new car. I'm sure you would have known if you went up a steep hill and knocked it off.

Yeah, it was missing before I even touched the car. The above picture before my test drive I took and sent to my cousin before they handed me the keys, if you look closely the lip is missing there too

I'd bet some Carmax staff pulled too close to a curb or sidewalk and scuffed it. Stand fast and make them replace it. Glad you have before pictures.
