Issues with KIA Connect App

Is anyone having issues with the latest Kia Connect Android App version (2.3.0)?

I updated the app on my S20 and it crashes every time I try to login. I rolled back to the previous version and it no longer crashes but when attempting to log in I just get a spinning circle. I can log in to the
Web portal on my PC with no issues but the app is useless now. Changing my PW was no help either. The app itself is half-assed but at least it was working before. Now it's completely useless.

Kia Connect or Kia Access?

I don't see Kia Connect in the play store. I have Kia Access on my S22 and its version number is 5.9.0 updated on Sept 21 2022. It's working fine for me.

It's the Kia Connect App for Canada. Might not show up for you depending on your location.

My Kia connect (2.3.0) is working fine.
And I agree, in general the app sucks, but it does work.


I use it nearly daily. Used it today to remote start my car.

It's the Kia Canada Connect App. You might not see it depending on your location.

I've got the same phone as you and don't mind it. I just don't understand why all of a sudden this stupid app won't work. I started the car from my laptop at work today lol.

Version 2.4.0 is noticeably quicker.

About 2x faster.

Downloaded the updated app and it finally works again. Whatever they broke before seems to be fixed now. Wish they would stop messing with it.
