Is map 5 safe to use with 93 octane and the JB4 450hp package?

Hi people. Is map 5 safe while using 93 octane with the 450 wheel hp package? If not which is the highest map you can go?
 
Map 5? No. Start on Map 2 and look at the logs (or send them into Terry). Might be able to reliably run Map 3.
Thanks! Can the logs be sent through the app? Or do you need to email them?

Should the octane level be the same between map3 and map 5? I remember someone saying about 95 octane US for map 3 to prevent timing cutting out.
 
The more octane the better for any map used, even map0.

Map 0: JB4 disabled
Map 1: 4psi over stock peak tapering to 2.5psi at high RPM. Default performance map suitable for all 91+ octane fuels.
Map 2: 5psi over stock tapering to 4psi at high RPM. Suggested for 93+ octane fuel.
Map 3: 6psi stock tapering to 5psi at high RPM. Suggested for high quality fuel including unleaded race gas, ethanol mixtures up to 30%, or high quality octane booster like Torco or Boostane.
Map 4: Valet map, runs around half as much boost as stock.
Map 5: Up to 7psi over stock. For use with unleaded race fuel and/or E85 mixtures up to 30%.
Map 6: User adjustable map. Enter value of boost over stock by RPM on user adjustment page.
Map 7: Up to 7psi over stock but without top end taper. For unleaded race fuel use and bolt on modifications. May not be suitable for E85 mixtures due to high fuel pressure dropping. If using this map on E85 you should be experienced at reading your own logs and evaluating ignition advance and fuel pressure.
Map 8: Progressive WMI (water/meth) map. Increases boost as a function of methanol flow & methanol boost additive. Holds boost low until WMI is flowing to avoid tip-in knock, and reduces boost as a function of WMI flow in the event of interruption like running out of fluid, leak, or component failure.


But I believe with v15 and up these are all changing but v15 is beta as far as I know right now.
 
Good 93 octane, octane booster, or E85 mixtures

Im on Map 3 while driving and it change by it self to Map 1.

Be sure you're running v16 firmware and if you need addl help post a JB4 log.
 
Just installed my jb4 on a 2017 440i coupe. On map two I'm hitting 4.1 0-60 with no other mods. Stock was 4.9-5. Not sure what the quarter mile is yet but, I will in a couple weeks. Also getting intake by then.

What’s powering your 440i.

440i would have the B58; 3.0L single-turbo inline 6. Power could be either 320 or 355hp stock depending on whether or not it had the M performance option.
