is fuel wire needed for jb4 map1&2

not planning to do e30 mix nor wmi. Plugs for map2 yes. In my case is the fuel wire really needed? or is there benefits for map1&2?

I asked basically the same question, and the advice I received from another forum member - oddball - was that the stock ECU tune is pretty right at higher power levels. The fuel wire will allow the JB4 to lean the mix out thus providing you some additional power at the top end. Not needed, but it's easy to do and could provide additional HP. Why not??
I do mix my fuel to an E30 mixture, but the statement above is true regardless of the fuel used.

Get the adapter so you don’t have to pierce your stock wiring.
