I brought my 2019 stinger (bought in dec 2019) into the shop today for the annual inspection. They said that my engine bay smelled of coolant. After a few hours, they called me and said that a hose is leaking at the water pump, call the dealer, maybe its under warranty.

I call Ourisman Kia in Chantilly, which blows btw, and they said they can't diagnose over the phone, to bring the car in. I plan to do this tomorrow.

Should this be covered under the limited basic warranty? 25K mileage, 4.5 years old.

Yes, bumper to bumper is good for five years. A hose fitting failure is positively covered.

Any pics?

Very curious

So i got a text from Kia Ourisman saying what is wrong with my car:
  1. Water Pump Replacement
  2. Water Pump Gasket
  3. Fuel Induction Service. Recommended every 30K mileage. My car is at 25K.
  4. Oil change
will call and verify 1 and 2 is under wty
