Introducing Myself and cold start knocking issue

Good evening. My name is Earl and I just bought my first 22 stinger G2. I love it with a passion. Problem is it has a very fast rattle or knocking on cold starts then I’m super concerned about. It’s been one week in the shop and My Kia dealer is having a hard time getting answers from corporate- have you guys had this issue?
I tried to upload my 52 second video of it, but doesn’t seem to work?

I haven't had this issue so I don't have any advice, but I'm hoping the dealer figures it out soon!

Thank you for replying. My stinger is black. Only has 13,000 miles on it. And other than the cold start up noise everything is perfect. So you don’t have any kind of a startup noise at all? Do you have the six cylinder?

Yes I have a 2019 GT1 with the 3.3TT V6. The fuel pump is a little noisy on startup, kind of a clicking sound that quiets down after a few seconds.

If it only lasts about 20 seconds or so its probably the high pressure fuel pump...thats a normal sound. Its a fast tapping sound...not really a knock. Also it doesnt produce any rough idle or vibration, if you have that its not normal.

Every Stinger does it, as mentioned it's the fuel pump. When you cold start you can lightly blip the throttle and it will make it stop instantly if it annoys you. You have nothing to worry about, totally normal.

If so it's the high pressure fuel pump and totally normal.

Its normal. Once fuel pump self lubricates, noise gets less.
