So 2 months ago the wife and I went car shopping due to some bone head decisions of our eldest. He got into some financial trouble and had to make some decisions which led him to taking over payments on our sonata limited. As we handed that off to him we had to replace the wifes car accordingly. We end up at a local kia dealer because we thought our son was gonna try and buy new for himself before credit issues happened and we realized it was his best interest to take over the sonata. We were looking at optimas and cadenzas. Then we found the stingers on the other side of the lot. To our surprise price point was not far off. We test drove all but the AWDs and we were hooked. We ended up with a white one with black chrome accents with red seats and red door panels. The only one on the lot and the only one the dealer has seen on their lot. During the haggling we reached an impasse and the GM came out and did his final push for the sale. He went into total salesman mode and half way into it I stopped him and said "bro you don't have to sell us the car. Its bought. IT'S A f*cking KIA!" I told him. He was thrown back in his seat like I stole his lollipop or something. Lol. It became a running joke the rest of the purchase. Such a joke I told him I was getting personalized plates that would say f*cking kia. Obviously f*cking or any part thereof was not gonna fly so I went with FN KIA. LOL!! They came yesterday! I love this car!! Now it's time for some mods!
I want to start with exhaust but not sure the route to take. Also considering blow off valves. Are they worth it? I will likely not change the intakes except for maybe drop in OE replacement K&N filters. Going after a throaty sound first then blow offs just because.
