Intermittent VIbration

Update on my issue. The dealer has rebalanced the front wheels and the steering wheel vibration is all gone now. Amazing how the three different tyre shops couldn’t do it properly before. Maybe the stinger is very sensitive to the slightest wheel imbalance.

NO just incompetence :mad::mad:

Update:
Got new rear tires. Had the shop road force balance all 4.

Vibration is completely gone (unfortunately the buffeting at ~63mph remains)

I've had a few shops do a road force balance and the most recent one got them right on, no vibration. I'm below 50% tread and have some outer wear(front only), I think with the way the tires wear due to the staggered setup causes this vehicle to be super sensitive to out of balance wheels/out of alignment and tire pressure.

Hi Guys,

I've been experiencing a vibration when driving my car pretty much since it was first purchased (only 4 months old and now sitting at 6000 km). The vibration comes and goes when driving around 80km/h and is most prominent on the freeway at approx 120km/h. I can feel it through the seat, pedal and steering wheel and occurs if I am either accelerating or coasting. The weirdest part about it is when I feel the vibration on a particular part of the freeway, the following day if I drive that same stretch it won't be there but then will occur again on a part that it was previously fine on.
I have had a Kia tech drive the car last time it was in for service and he said it is just the feel of the road. Prior to this I had a 2018 Stinger which was silky smooth on the freeway - this is far from it. Any ideas what this could be besides the usual wheel balance? I've balanced the wheels 3 times and also swapped to a different set of original wheels I have, but I still get this vibration.

I will obviously continue to take this up with the dealership, but as you know trying to explain something to them is like pushing shit uphill!

One thing I recently did notice was that If I have my foot slightly on the accelerator at low speeds and move the steering wheel from side to side I can hear a very faint mechanical/grinding type sound. The sound is not present if I am coasting nor is it there if I switch off stability control - Not sure if its related to the vibration, but then again anything is possible.
Question for you, I’m having the same issue but mine started after I put new tires on. I’m having the tire shop to take the Good years back and put the new sets of Michelin tires on my car. How did the dealer found out that the wheels were bad?
