Are their benefits to upgrading our stock intercooler even without a chip tune? I’m looking for bolt on mods I can do myself, although I’m not planning on doing a tune for awhile if ever.

as far as I know, changing out the intercooler will be a benefit for you, just for the fact that most aftermarket intercoolers are better made than stock. now, that being said, you do have to remove the nose of the car to access the intercooler and if you are going to do that, you might as well go for a better air intake. not just a cai, but the horns that funnel air to them. you will see when you remove the nose that the stock air funnels travel this curved route to get to the airbox, and when you do change to a cai, it won't get as much air. see, do one thing and then you might as well do something else. pretty soon you will be changing turbos, down pipes, a full exhaust, new suspension etc. slippery slope. post some pics of the install, there are members here who are on the fence about that, me included. good luck

It would have a benefit when you go to the track back to back to avoid heat soak. If you are interested we have in stock. I personally started with intakes k&N, JB4 and then Intercooler.
