Hey everyone. I was wondering what some of the differences are when comparing a standalone intercooler core (ex. BMS intercooler) and a full intercooler/plumbing replacement (ex. Mishimoto kit).
BMS intercooler is significantly less money than the Mishimoto Kit so I wanted to get a better idea of the differences.

I would go Mishimoto if your planning to push the stock turbos to the limit or going aftermarket turbos, otherwise the BMS unit is sufficient as the stock piping has not shown to be a bottleneck up to circa 450whp.

BMS is good enough.

Thanks for the help! I'm planning on getting a LAP3 1.5 tune eventually (probably 2023) so I want to prep the car beforehand. Sounds like the BMS is the way to go since I won't be going crazy. Good to know that no known issues have arisen with the stock piping.
