Intercooler agnostic question

After recently installing the BMS intercooler it appears that most of the extra cooling surface area that was achieved by upgrading from stock is being blocked by the plastic bumper. Is there a solution for that? I'm sure someone else has had this thought too?

You can cut some holes in the bumper. Some people do it. Never seen it on stinger through.

Between this and the aftermarket intercoolers being at least double or up to almost four times as heavy, this mod is on the bottom of my list.

I will agree that this thing is a beast, even being all aluminum it's very heavy

However, I'm in Florida, and for 9 months of the year we have two temperatures, hot and hotter. I think this upgrade provides value to me.

Actually three temperatures. sometimes around August I think we achieve "Africa hot"

You did the right thing, a more efficient intercooler is worth its weight in gold.

Are you talking about the height or the width? As for the height, the bumper is irrelevant as the cash bar is the real blockade. And I hope no one is about to go cut holes in the front crash bar... For the width you can always get a Dremel and cut out the fake vents on the lower grill. When properly done it is actually very hard to spot. That adds about 2 extra inches on both sides of airflow

Same thing with the 3d snorkels on the main front grille . Dremel out the corners and you are good to go

Unless you have the radar cruise grille. No cutting required then.
