I installed a mechanical boost gauge today on my 22 Stinger. That was definitely a lot tougher than I expected. I bought the boost gauge from Amazon and it came with a universal pod. I looked everywhere for a stinger specific pod and no luck. I can't believe no company sells Kia specific gauge pods. The hardest part of the install was running the vacuum hose. Other than that, I'm happy with results. Here is a picture of the gauge installed.

electronic boost (multi) gauge was a simple install ... pic from my previous car before i put it in the Stinger. changed to KIA logo, of course lol

Tested the gauge today. The gauge showed 11 PSI constant on highway at WOT. On the city streets, it showed about 13 PSI but would spike at 20 PSI. Should I be concerned?

If you are stock, if should not go to 20

That's what I thought. I haven't a clue where to start investigating. I'm interested to see if it happens again.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It tends to spike only when car is about to shift. I think it may be on purpose. I got picture on highway of the gauge holding steady at 12 PSI.
