I was thinking about getting the injen intakes for my Kia stinger 3.3L and was wondering if anyone knew if the universal heat shield they also sell fits along with this in the engine. Or maybe if I even need it or not? Also would getting the hydro shields be a good choice or is it not really needed? Thank you

Injens are great, don't know about the universal heat shields but I got these from ADD W1 and they seem to work pretty well.

As for the hydro shields, I used to use them but they seems pretty restrictive and don't think they are worth it IMO.

Hey BardiaD,

Injen is a great choice for Intakes for the Kia Stinger.

Injens R&D did a great job to ensure they made the best possible intake solution they could.

They also made sure to pair their intake tubes with a patented nano filter that could withstand the elements.

In our experience, we don't see a necessity for heat shields & think you are better off saving money for something else.

Injen created an intake kit you will be able to install & enjoy in a variety of climates such as rain or snowy conditions.
