Injen intake and MBRP EXHAUST...

Thanks GV! I’ve never modded any of my previous cars so this is all new to me. I’ve read the pro/cons of CAI and some of the cons have me a little worried.

What cons? Only con of the injen is that it might be a warranty issue. I don't care about warranty so yeah...

The engineering explained video is a lot more accurate than the article. Lol the injen has like none of those cons. Filters are pretty good, still have to maintain them like every filter, hydrolock? Not happening unless your car takes a swim. Air rolling? It's got a turbo, the turbo could care less if the air was rolled, folded or pressed. It will all get mashed anyways. The injen just gets rid of the stock restrictions.

I went with Jhonny Tig intakes because of the group buy a while ago. They come with covers for the filters. Injen was my second choice. People make DIY shields. I'm still waiting on the intakes. I bought my car with KN but i didn't really like the layout. Oh and one filter was destroyed so I had to get a new intake anyways.

It is in!! Sounds great but I had to get home to make dinner so didn't have much of a chance to drive her. My mechanic is less than a mile from my house. He only charged $75 and I feel that was resonable.

Wow, did a little joyride today while running some errands. I definitely feel this more than just the catback by itself! I was chirping the wheels all over the place and that isn’t something I normally do. Perhaps the sum of the two add on parts is greater than what’s advertised? I don’t know but wow, this is a whole new machine! Oh and that sound! just stunning! I’ve been driving around with the radio off and I love my music and the system in the car!

Hi Svet. I just want to ask how is the sound or noise level of the Injen CAI and MBRP cat-back altogether? I am looking for something potentially louder than the stock but not too loud and wonder how you like it
