Well I was able to get my Injen intake installed earlier it looked great and sounded great when revved. Once I took possession of vehicle and powered down the highway I got to the car wash and noticed the smell and steam of anti freeze of course when I noticed that I was furious so back to the installer I go. I showed him the problem and he says well I didn't take apart or add any anti freeze hoses. So he cleaned anti freeze mashed on gas several times I told him to launch it up the highway and we'll see what happens. But car comes back dry I told him if I see it again I'll definitely be back so now I have no idea of what happened.

Well in his defense, intake and coolant lines are completely separate. Could have been a fluke. However, there is a mod that some members have done with a coolant line that has been known to leak and smell. If you search it, it should come up.

These cars tend to have a stink of antifreeze after shut down.

I‘m guessing the steam/smoke must have been a separate issue. Just a coincidence that you saw it at the time.

I'm hoping that's all it is but now I have to keep an eye and a nose out.
