Increased soot on exhaust tips

After installing the AEM cold air intake over the weekend, I noticed that there has been a much greater amount of soot on the exhaust tips than normal. Nothing alarming, just definitely noticeable whereas before it was minimal, even when compared to after the cat back was installed.

Is this just to be expected as a case of increased flow; more air in = more air out? I have been enjoying the turbo noises.

A less restrictive exhaust combined with a less restrictive intake will have an effect like this, especially if you have been enjoying the turbo noises.

Yup (I had the intakes before the borla... wasn’t as bad until I added the exhaust). Ceramic coat yo tips (and black diffuser under it) bruh.
