Me to, had this exact set up in my 1983 230E W123 Merc. Makes too much sense.

Had it my old Beemer but rarely needed to alter the setting.

I thought the Australian GT's had auto levelling?

What does the manual say?
Yes, but the thread is about manually adjusting the forward angle.
 
Good luck mate, if that hi chroma red lustres like it did when I saw it you shouldn't have any problems.

From the manual, I believe my 2019 GT2 is equipped with this.


Headlight leveling device
(if equipped)
Automatic type
To ensure the proper headlight beam
is used under various conditions, the
headlight beam levels are automati-
cally adjusted depending on the
number of passengers, the weight in
the liftgate, and other driving condi-
tions.
 
US Spec have auto level based on vehicle load and a rear level sensor on the suspension. We do not get this option, and cant verify if we are wired for a plug and play option
