This hasn't been confirmed but there may be a possibility that in order for the holes (used to keep the KIA badge in place) to be covered, you need to off-set the badge a tenth of an inch. This would enrage me to no end as I'm always walking around with a ruler and would definitely notice if I went up to a Stinger and measured it.
I saw the StingerGTandMe video where he installed his and thats what it looked like he had to do. I'm with you in that it would aggravate the shit out of me to no end if it was off center. I'll just replace it with the 'E' badge and call it a day. Nice and symmetrical lol
