Background, like most of you I came from BMW (4 total) I also have a model x for longer trips with the kids but here's the thing....I'm just happy with the stinger as is, I mean I added a few things to make it mine but it's mostly stock on the exterior and it's fine. I have always rushed to mod and add new grills, wheels, spoiler, exhaust etc but I just don't see the need with the stinger.

Am I crazy?! I get compliments all the time, even had neighbors come over to walkthrough it but the itch to mod just isn't there.

Anyone else just .. happy with their stinger?

Us as well.. came from bmw, and don't have the itch to modify this one like other vehicles.. will probably do some "invisible" mods such as upgrade from the not great primacy tires to something stickier and the sway bar upgrade ... but leaving other items alone .... for now. :) maybe when the warranty is gone we'll throw a jb4 on it.

I had intakes and a JB4 on mine in less than 6 months LOL. I had a lightly modded Mustang GT prior and didn't want a slower car so I felt the need to mod immediately.

I've done relatively little to mine as well, compared to some members.

"Most of us" came from BMW? Not this boy. I've never even sat in one. :D Welcome to the forum.

Ditto. Only "mods" I've done is tint on windows, tint on the rear side reflectors/taillights, changed the front badge to the "K" badge, plasti-dipped my wheels black, an oil catch can, Max 3d spider floor mats, black vinyl wrap for roof/side mirrors/front grill, Windbooster 4s, ceramic coat, and Rokblokz mudflaps. Mostly minor and cheap additions. No engine/performance mods. Everything I did myself except for the vinyl wrapping and window tint.

Although I have sat in a couple, it's been many years. I guess I no longer associate with any bimmer owners, which is maybe a good thing?

Don’t be afraid to mod the car. Most of my mods were done at just 50 miles.

Welcome to the forum. Mines pretty stock other than the bi-modal exhaust to give it some bark.

I put a jb4 on in the dealer parking lot and picked up a catback on my way home from the dealer

I plan on keeping my Stinger stock forever.
To me, modding just "cheapens" the car. It's not as pure.
I like keeping it as the designers intended it.

I am much the same, they do hold their value better if they are stock but each to their own. Modders love to personalise their cars and good luck to them. We are all car people, that's the main thing and we choose to drive the Stinger.

The couple of mods I wanted to do to my 2018 were the larger Stinger logo across the back - now that's been done at the factory - and also the light across the back as well... - done at the factory. I'm all set when I get my 2022 Stinger GT-Line. :)

I came from BMW as well (still have one). I did a mild tune, and upgraded the wheels to 19" stock (I have GT-Line). I'm good to go! Definitely the best all around car I've ever owned.
