Glad to see kia putting effort into them and revolutionary from what they have today. Vans are wildly practical vehicles. We have a pacifica and they're great. I wonder if the 4th row version will make it stateside. Interesting features for sure though I enjoy the stowngo vs fixed seats. Styling is interesting, but pandering to SUV buyers - I prefer curves than a high hood and boxy front though everyone's tastes are different
That is possible, but who wants cars to all look the same? Isn't that boring? I think most people that bought the stinger like it because it's different and doesn't look like a toyota camry, etc.
If people wanted a van that looks like a lowered SUV then the Ford Flex would have sold better. I think there are too many "sheeple" buying SUVs because they think it's the cool thing, when in reality vans are more practical (and less expensive). There's even an article coining the phrase as SUVs being "minivan avoidance vehicles". There are rare occassions when people buy SUVs because they do go offroading OR need to tow heavier items - but in most cases there are other types of vehicles that would suit their needs better (sedan, van or pickup).
Either way I'm impressed with what Kia's doing with their van
Can see this following in the footsteps of the Telluride.
While won't challenge the segment leader in sales, can see the new Sedona take the crown for segment ATP, with a high % of buyers opting for the top trims.
