I Love Red Lights!!!!

I'm lovin' red lights now. If I'm approaching a green from a distance I try to time it so that I'm caught by the red and position myself to be the lead car in any available lane. Every time I have to bring my Stinger to a stop...............means that I get to take off again!!!!!!!!!!!

And I try to use roads that have at least 45 MPH as the speed limit: that way you can push to c. 60 MPH and back off (I know, "nine you're fine, ten you're mine" is being violated: but only for a few seconds).

I agree 45mph roads and above give just enough time to hit 3rd gear without so much worry. Every red light. Every time i get pole. I launch for fun

I remember feeling this way when I first got mine. Its easily one the Stinger's best assets.

Yesterday, I pulled up to the right of a gun metal Supra; and when the light turned green I hit the kickdown switch: didn't quite reach 60 MPH (in a 45 MPH zone) and rapidly coasted to under 55; the Supra never took the bait. Clearly the appropriate attitude for a Supra is to not race a Kia. (I wasn't racing: I would have done the same thing with vans on either side of me, or nobody at all.)
