I wouldn't worry. There are complaints like this with all the brands. The people who have an issue are the ones to speak up. The ones with no issue have no reason to talk about their experience. That's how it works almost all the time.
I never use Yelp. I'm having a hard time telling if that's for a specific dealership or the entire organization in America. If it's for a specific dealership - stay away from that specific dealership. But don't forsake the entire brand because of that...^Eeehhhhh...still, most dealers don't have a 1.2 average on Yelp. That's pretty awful.
Right, it is for a specific dealership in Irvine. It doesn't say anything about the brand, but it says that dealership probably sucks.I never use Yelp. That's because most people use Yelp for restaurant reviews. I think it started as strictly a food-related review site before it expanded to include all businesses. 27 is a smaller sample, but 78% of those reviews agree that it's a 1-star business. This is 27 reviews. I think the McDonald's in my town has more reviews.
You've had some pretty good luck. For the most part I'm in the same boat. Most stuff holds together really well these days...I've never had to use the warranties on any of my cars (Knock on Wood). In fact, I've never had any problems until after 100,000 miles. At that point I really don't complain. My last 3 cars I've had for more than 160,000 miles each.
