I guess some people don't like Kia

^Eeehhhhh...still, most dealers don't have a 1.2 average on Yelp. That's pretty awful.

I never use Yelp. I'm having a hard time telling if that's for a specific dealership or the entire organization in America. If it's for a specific dealership - stay away from that specific dealership. But don't forsake the entire brand because of that...

This is 27 reviews. I think the McDonald's in my town has more reviews. They were rated 3rd most reliable manufacturer this year by multiple publishings, behind Toyota and Lexus. JD Power best in initial quality. Twice! I'm not worried at all.

Right, it is for a specific dealership in Irvine. It doesn't say anything about the brand, but it says that dealership probably sucks.

That's because most people use Yelp for restaurant reviews. I think it started as strictly a food-related review site before it expanded to include all businesses. 27 is a smaller sample, but 78% of those reviews agree that it's a 1-star business.

I never would have thought to check yelp for an Automobile Manufacturer. I read through a couple of them. The one about the Nav and Radio not being included in the bumper to bumper warranty caught my eye. I checked the Kia site, and, sure enough...it's only 3 years 36,000 miles on those items. I never checked on my previous cars...I just always assumed when they used the term bumper to bumper it meant exactly that.

There's surely an extended warranty option that'll cover the navigation system for longer. But it would be nice if the bumper to bumper warranty covered it. I guess navigation is one of those things with an asterisk somewhere in the paperwork.

I've never had to use the warranties on any of my cars (Knock on Wood). In fact, I've never had any problems until after 100,000 miles. At that point I really don't complain. My last 3 cars I've had for more than 160,000 miles each.

You've had some pretty good luck. For the most part I'm in the same boat. Most stuff holds together really well these days...
