I Got Stung

They convinced me to buy the car today. 2019 GT2 AWD, Black w/ Red Interior. It's amazing. I didn't want black, but it's what they had on the lot and they were determined to get me to take it rather than locate a different color, so I made them pay for it. Now I'm going to spend the next several to many years obsessing over keeping it clean.

Now, back to rearranging my garage so I can fit it in there and deciding whether to order the Weathertech mats, or Tuxmat. Think I'm leaning towards Tuxmat.

Not necessarily, first thing to do in your brand new Stinger is to apply ceramic coat, and if your budget allows it, apply the transparent film on fenders, mirror shells, front bumper.

Get the Tuxmat, it is a better product imo. It is easier to clean, looks better, and provides better coverage.

Cool! You got a very sharp color, imho. It looks best in dim light because it is mysterious and menacing. But you're right, cleaning will be a constant job. But it should be a labor of love. I enjoy washing my car, or having it washed this time of year: I have my first monthly unlimited car wash pass. That removes a lot of the angst about it getting besmirched.

as someone with a white Stinger, I can tell you that your back bumper will be glad it's black lol the next day after cleaning mine the back bumper has black soot on it. Thanks direct injection.
