Keep watching after that, he talks about the memory and says the drive mode is stored. I had a look at the manual and it says nothing about the drive mode memory. Someone will have to try it out and let me know as I don’t have my car yet.

You might need some coffee, the words Drive Mode are never said in that section. He says the memory stores seats, mirrors, HUD and cluster display. Then he talks about heated seats and rear passenger room. Then goes for a drive.

So where is the part about drive mode being saved?

Well to be fair you CAN customize the handling, feel of the steering wheel, etc etc. Like there's the sport profile, comfort profile... and a "custom" profile.
