My paint has many chips in the front. Has there been an issue with paint easily chipping. I have an early 2018, 26,000 miles.

I have a red 2020 Stinger and the front bumper and windshield are full of rock chipsMy paint has many chips in the front. Has there been an issue with paint easily chipping. I have an early 2018, 26,000 miles.
The model year is 2020, but I got it in June 2019, so it's been almost 2 years, and I've driven 33k miles on it. When I bought the car, I didn't really know anything about protection and whatnot, so I only learned about it after the bumper got so many rock chips. You have a 2020 and it's full of rock chips already? Why not "invest" in the 3M paint protection? I also have a 2020, I have the paint protection on a lil bit of the hood and the front bumper, best 300 bucks I've spent. Had it on my 2007 and the bumper was mint on that car the entire time I had it.
Ohhhhhh, gotcha. I didn't get my 2020 until July of 2020, just hit 5k yesterday. We normally keep our cars awhile, so that's literally the 1st thing we do.The model year is 2020, but I got it in June 2019, so it's been almost 2 years, and I've driven 33k miles on it. I'm sorry. A respray of your bumper and then PPF before any damage is the only fix. I got to mine at c. three months, when I noticed some road attrition and decided that if three months collected enough for me to notice, imagine what a year or three would look like? So, I applied the touchup pen to the obvious ones and got the PPF pronto.I only learned about it after the bumper got so many rock chips.
It's all right. I have thought of repainting it at the dealer, but everyone that looked at my car until now never mentioned anything about the rock chips, so I guess it's only noticeable to me. But on a serious note, I might consider repainting the bumper and applying protection immediately afterwards. My only concern is the difference in the colour since the whole car will have paint that is almost 2 years old except for the bumper.I'm sorry.
