I finally got a chance to drive the Stinger, and I was really impressed. Car had great power, build quality, and surprisingly the ride wasn't that harsh or loud. I even put in my baby car seat, and it seemed to fit pretty well. The blue GTs looked nice, but the white one I saw looked incredible. I'm sure you guys hare having fun with this car.

I went to Superior Kia, and they were very courteous. There wasn't any pressure. Said they could work with me on the price. They even offered me an extended test drive so that I could take it home so that my wife could see it. I couldn't work that in, but plan to. The one thing I worry about is quality of the service department. The service department area was in poor shape. Also, no complimentary loaners on maintenance or warranty work. I have a Q5 right now, and service department area is clean. Audi always provides a loaner when I drop it off for anything.

While the stinger competes really well with Audi, Mercedes, BMW, etc. in performance and price, there is no question that it falls well behind those luxury brands in the service department. Those upper tier brands will shower you with extra perks like free loaners, offering to pickup and drop off the car for you, free amenities in the wait rooms and so on. You'll get none of that fancy stuff with Kia unfortunately.

I hope down the road they start including service maintenance perks with their higher end cars (K900, Stinger, maybe Cadenza). Right now though, thats the sacrifice you have to make to get a car that could easily be selling for about $15k more if it had a different badge on it.

I'm glad to see you had a chance to drive the Stinger! Check out Google reviews in regards to service. There will probably be more people complaining than complimenting - but as long as the place is getting a fair share of good reviews, you should be okay...

Interesting. I wouldn't trust my local Audi/VW dealership to service a tin can. And I've loved my Kia dealership for 15 years running.

The Germans probably invest a lot more in their service departments because their cars spend half of their lifetimes there.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Probably depends on the dealership. The one here is awesome. I was given a loaner until my Stinger is fixed. In comparison, the bmw shop gave me an enterprise rental.

It is a good point that you're paying significantly less so you'll have to compromise somewhere.

Not a lot of love for German dealerships in here lol. I don't like dealerships in general, but the Audi service areas are really nice and it's nice to get another Audi loaner. Maybe I need to check out the other Kia dealerships. How is King's?

I just had tires changed to all seasons at Kings. They gave me a loaner to run errands while I waited for that and splash guards to be installed. Not sure if that’s their normal behavior or just because I recently purchased though them. My last two Kias came from Jeff Wyler Fairfield. They have a new facility that’s pretty nice. No loaners though. Ever in six years.

I’ve bought 3 cars from Kings Kia and have been there dozens of times for service. It’s not fancy, but they have always done a good job and have been pretty proficient.
