any one else have this issue?.

Doesn’t happen super often but, it’s random and it’s definitely happened at least three times since I got the car back in OCT.

I’ve only had 1 service so far, and it didn’t even happen after that!

Kinda weird.

The hud setting is one of the additional settings saved with the seat position. Might want to check that.

Other settings are saved as well:
“Driving Position Memory System is the facility that enables driver’s seat, steering wheel, exterior mirrors, clus- ter and head-up display (HUD) to be controlled with a simple button oper- ation, which allows a driver to recall memorized driving positions and automatically control them. Driver’s seat/ Steering Wheel/ Exterior mir- rors: location Cluster: Brightness of lighting
Head up Display (HUD): height, rota- tion and brightness.”

And let’s not forget the known issue of the seat bolster/side bolsters/seat position sometimes (randomly) not returning to the last memory driver (when usin easy exit). I’m sure they are related to the hud issue.

Can you describe what "easy exit" is?

When you shut the car off, the seat slides back and/or the steering wheel moves up allowing easy exit/entry. It is a setting on the gauge cluster settings (using steering wheel controls). Maybe only on the GT2/premium models.

I see. And, yes I do have that issue as well, especially the side boslters of the seat. However, this morning, I noticed that HUD angle was a bit off than what it was set to. Thought it was weird. Now I know.
Does anyone know if there is a fix coming?

I havent heard about a fix but from what people has been saying is you should try disconnecting the battery or resetting the memory system. I havent tried yet but will report back if it works:

Driver position memory system reset

If the Driver position memory system reset fails to work, initialize the system as follows.

How to initialize:
1. Stop the car and open the driver’s door with the Engine start/stop button in ON and the automatic shift lever in P (parking) position. 2. Pull the driver’s seat forward as far as possible and have the seatback upright as much as possible using driver’s seat forward adjustment and seatback angle (recline) movement switches.
3. Push SET button and seat fore movement switch button for 2 seconds simultaneously
