I had a very primitive HUD in my '99 Corvette but I still found it to be a great feature.
I really like the one in the Stinger and, like others have said, I don't look at the dash very often any more.
It is OK with polarized glasses...still visible, just faint. The one in the Corvette would disappear with polarized glasses. It was also monochromatic green which probably didn't help.
The only thing I would change would be to put a tachometer readout in it.
