I got a new windshield installed and now my HUD looks messed up, has anyone had this problem?

Are you sure they put a HUD windshield in the car?

Did you have it done by a shop authorized and certified to re-calibrate all the appropriate systems?

You can't just swap out the windshield in a driveway or garage. The camera and HUD have to be re-calibrated.

It was Safelite, it took forever! They should know what they are doing?

So it was at a shop?

As stated, they can't do this in your driveway.

Yes, they did it at the shop because they needed all the equipment to adjust the cameras and sensors.

You should be able to tell if it's a HUD windshield by looking for the coating that's applied. It's only applied in a square patch above the projector and it's very subtle, but you can see it.

If it's the right glass and they say they properly calibrated it, try going into the HUD settings through the steering wheel controls. You can adjust the height and rotation of the display. If that still doesn't fix it I'd have the dealer recalibrate.
