How's the AC after sitting out in the summer heat?

Most of us live in areas that see 95+ degrees. How well does the Stinger's AC work after sitting out in the sun?

Does it cool off faster, slower, or about the same as other cars you've owned?

Once the cabin is cooled off, how loud do the fans run to maintain temp?

I'm looking to buy a GT2 eventually and it'd help me out. Thanks!

Best climate control I've ever had. Quietest too. And it knocks the heat down quickly. I keep the sunroof cover closed and put up a windshield screen and lower my rear windows c. an inch. That mitigates heat buildup a lot.

I live in Vegas and had it through last summer and this one. I can say it takes a fair amount of time to cool the cabin, but noticeably quick. My routine is to roll down all the windows and it'll push the hot air out. After about 30 seconds or so, windows up and you start to feel much cooler air come in. 110+ degree weather here a lot of days going into August and September. Would definitely say it's an amazing AC system.

The cooled seats (first time for me) really add to the FEELING of being cooled down.

I got a lighter car because I got tired of my black legacy wagon getting so hot all the time..

It’s hard to describe something as subjective as cold so I’ll try to give you an example instead.

Imagine you’re sharing an intimate moment with your wife.

Now imagine you’ve just called her by her sister’s name.

That’s how cold it gets.

And just as quickly.

I'm in Atlanta. We see 100F+ during the summer. I use a gold reflective windshield cover to keep the dash cool. Since rain is hit or miss here regardless of the forecast I usually don't roll down the windows any. I usually start the car and open the windows (sunroof sometimes) to get the air moving.

It's a great A/C system. If we had UVO access like the Canadians, that would be amazing.

I live in Texas and it is very impressive. Cools off very fast.

Here is Florida where it's 95+ on the daily. I have 20% Rayno Phantom S9 Ceramic Tint on all windows except winshield even on moon roof. 70% Rayno Clear Blue Ceramic on Winshield has 98+ IR and Thermal rejection.

Then I have the rear vents pointing down torward the backs of the seats so the cold air blows under the seats into the fans for the vented seats.

Car cools down really quick after sitting int he sun all day at work. I usually keep it on 74 to 76 degrees

I have remote start and in 100F humid South Carolina weather it takes about 5 minutes to get the cabin cool; I use a sunshade and keep all the windows up. Only downside is the car shuts off when you open the door or hatch and you have to start it again after getting in but at least its cool inside.

El Paso here. Current temp is 101 F. Very hot and nearly always very sunny. Windows tinted at 25%, sunshield in place, cools off impressively quick. Always dusty here in the desert, so I rarely roll a window down.

It's been in the low 90s with high humidity here so far but we'll be seeing a heat index of 100F+ this week so my experience may change :)

But so far the car is cooler than my former one after sitting in the sun, but I do have the snow white pearl color. The car also cools off significantly faster than other cars I've owned (like 5 minutes max) and then I can maintain it with the lowest fan setting which I can barely hear. I don't know if the past cars I've owned had crummy AC or what, but this air gets frigid COLD and in less than a minute of turning the car on. I have yet to use a sun shield and the only thing that gets really hot is the top of the steering wheel.

The other thing is there is an appreciable amount of floor air when you set it to floor+body level vents, which keeps your feet and legs cool. I haven't had decent floor air in a car in years. Seat ventilation - I didn't think it was doing much of anything until I shut it off and discovered oh yes it is.

The only annoying thing I found is when it's raining and I need to use the defroster with some heat to clear the windshield I will crack the window. Not in this car, as cracking the window in the rain will get half your body and your driver's door controls soaked pretty quickly, as the water is fed directly into the car along the entire window :/
