Thanks go to @corradoMR2. It's not the most in-depth "how to" - but he does show us how to do it...

"Fairly easy to apply on the hood since the surface is relatively flat. Trick is to heavily soak the underside and top, and start squeezing out the liquid/air from the center radially out."

...and as noted on the post below, "To add, keep about 5-8mm of excess film around the edge of the hood to fold over and under. Have a hair dryer handy to help stretch out or prevent wrinkles.

Solution is distilled water and a couple of drops of dish soap in a spray bottle."

Looks great, the clear bra is the way to go, as im personally done with the hard plastic protectors, and i have also had one of those front car bras, both a thing of the past, for me anyway, 2 weeks ago when i visited my local dealership, the service guys were applying a clear bra like this on their showroom Sunset Yellow Stinger, and now outside in the yard, this is the same Stinger, and i tried to check about Ozstung's heater pipe issue yesterday.

Sweet! Was this a generic kit, or Stinger-specific?

Just generic. A cheap $20 Vvivid brand for 8ftx1ft if I recall on Amazon or diectly from them. It's good for the price

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Cool! Thanks for sharing this!

No problem. There are better quality products such as from 3M, but I wanted to try it out first with a lower-cost decent product to minimize the cost risk. If and when this product deteriorates, yellows, peels, chips, etc, I may just go for the $50 3M roll.

Did you have a clear bra on the part where the "E" emblem is, too? I'm rebadging the front this week and I have the clear bra from the factory installed. It's cutout is for the KIA oval, so my round badge will overlap a bit on the clear wrap. Do you think that's ok?

Sure go for it. At worst from up close only it will show. Only the lower portion of my hood is protected.

I've got a full 3m PRO PPF film pre-cut for the GT front bumper if anyone was interested. $200 shipped

How's the film doing? I had film on my front end that turned yellow and cracked on an old Camry. Was hell getting it off without damaging the paint.
