The Korean-market Stingers with heated and cooled seats shuts off those functions when the ignition is turned off, so that you have to turn on the heating or cooling function again when you turn the ignition back on. Would there be an interest in a memory module that would turn the heating or cooling function back to the setting that it was on prior to turning off the ignition? It's a custom module that will require splicing a few wires.

By the way, this is an existing product in Korea, not something that we are gauging interest in to make. Just trying to see if there is any interest in it.

Thank you...

Depending on the install difficulty...or more like how many things I need to rip apart that'll start rattling after, I would definitely be interested. I hate that the app does not allow me to activate the heated seats when remote starting. Heated wheel, warm interior, frosty seats...no fun. Let us know!

*Edit* Now that I think if it, this probably requires pulling up the center console trim? If that's the case, I'm blaming you for me buying the Korean console trim with the cupholder cover along with this heated seat mod...

If price is right I’ll be interested

I would like to had seat heating to the rear of my car, that might be a bit pricier though as new door switch panels would be required as well and who knows if the wiring is there already. I'll have to look into the part to see if it's cost effective to do.

And blame him for the “while I’m at it” of adding the qi wireless charger... you know, since the center console is off...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
None it's all part of the pre-flight

I could see this being useful if you make a lot of frequent stops (or in certain climates) where it's the same temperature getting back into the car, but this would drive me nuts if my heated / cooled seat turned back on. Would there be a time out function (ie if the car sits more than 2 hours don't use the last setting)?

Like when I installed the shift lever in my Mustang GT, might as well do the shift knob, change the shifter bracket bushing, reverse lockout...since I'm in there. It only increases the price from 200 to 500.

Would prefer to operate manually as required.

This would be nice for remote start users.

I'd have to dig into Kia Tech Info again, but I've always wondered if these can be controlled over CAN (same thing with ISG, heated stearing wheel, etc.)

Yeah, that's not a feature I'd want to 'stick'. To much temperature variation (both environmental and body) from one time entering the car to the next. I'm happy with just applying it on an 'as needed' basis.

I might be interested, depending on price and "intrusiveness" of installation. The whole reason I wanted remote start was to condition the cabin a little before entry, both winter and summer.
