How many would keep their 2018 3.3GT lease

I have had my 2018 GT for 1 year now. Thinking ahead of what car I will get 2 years. from now. I only have 8200 miles and I am 4K miles under for the year. Yes I like performance and my previous ride was a 1995 10.80 ET Ford lightning . No it didn't have the ride and feel of the stinger but it was fast as snot.. I enjoy this car and just recently ran a 12.82 a couple months a go. Even my wife loves this car. Do i wish it had an extra reliable 100 HP Hell yea. CHOICE keep the stinger and throw some mods at it and have a hi 11 sec car, or go get a 2018 F150 4x4 short bed , do some suspension mods, bolt on a 2.9 Whipple and pop off some 10.80 again. I really like this car THINKING here..

I am in the same boat. I leased the GT1 with the intention that I would keep it after the lease was up. I’m 500-600 miles over the 10k I selected. I love the car, nothing like it on the road in terms of looks and features for price. Coming from an Optima EX, this obviously a huge upgrade and I’m happy about that.

It's a keeper for me. For 45k after discounts the GT2 is unique.

Stock Gen II's aren't really that fast , They are 13.something trucks stock. Yes I treat this car like a keeper . Who knows what I will do..

Leases carry an interest rate. Methinks if you pay the buyout early you save all the extra money you would have spent on interest over the term.

Yep. Monthly "lease rent" (interest) is avoided entirely from the moment you exercise the buyout. So, the sooner the better!

Why lease in the first place? Because Kia gives these killer lease incentives. Even if you can pay cash, it makes sense to lease and knock the price of the car down first six to ten thousand then use cash to do the buyout. If you have to borrow to do the buyout, you'll save as much money as the difference in interest on the loan (being lower) and the "lease rent" (interest).

Yes, you can buy out the lease before it ends. It will save you some money.

I'm going to be WAY over the mileage limit. So trade in early, or buy it outright at the end of the lease.

I'm really in a hard spot. My mind says no, but my body is telling me yes.

Currently leasing mine. Have leased my past 2 cars..this is definitly the one I'm ending with and to carry me through until a few more years after until we make the move to Arizona.

I leased and bought out right away. Not only am I happy to keep this car for many years, I couldn't resist the need to modify the car and leasing really didn't afford me that ability

I would think that the truck that Tesla comes out with will be faster than any other truck by a significant margin. I would expect that the other truck manufacturers will counter that with some really strong engines / fast trucks (7.3l raptor, etc). You would be better off waiting and see what unfolds and enjoy your stinger in the interim.
