Hi
About to pick up a new Stinger with the bi-modal exhaust.
Has anyone compared these to good quality after market exhausts in term of power, torque etc.?
Is it worth the money to change?
Cheers

From my limited investigations on the topic, they sound better, yes, but offer no performance gains over the standard mono-modal exhaust.

I have the Bimodal, it came as part of the deal when I bought the car. I like it, it is loud on cold start and when you give it a bit in sport mode. If you take out the plug from the fuse box, it remains open so it is loud all the time but has a resounding drone in cabin. I am still considering a Borla exhaust but not sure if it drones or not, as a Gt that I want to drive long distances in I don't want an annoying drone.
The good thing about the Bimodal is it comes with the seven year warranty so maybe I'll wait to get an another type when the warranty runs out.

Thank you.

No drone, warranty included, good sound, not over the top. Why change?. Does the Stinger need any more hp. Just needed that better sound. I love it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Sounds like the exhaust was fitted before you took delivery - which is much more convenient for you. Enjoy the car, they're a helluva ride!

Having completed 1800km in my new car now, I'm happy to say I wont be needing or desiring to change the exhaust. The company that designed it really nailed it. It's reasonably quiet when just cruising, but is really quick to bark when the go pedal is pushed. Love it.
