Now this is how i would have wanted my Stinger pick up experience to be, by having it delivered to my home, this is done only in Canada, although i am happy with my Stinger, i believe the whole experience from first walking into the dealership, to purchasing it, to taking delivery, and soon to bringing it in for service, and then you don't even get a courtesy car, it upsets me that Kia has cheaped out on the whole buying experience of being a Stinger owner, and then like i mentioned, when you take it in for service, your treated no better than the customer next to you who bought the cheapest Kia Rio, to me it's more about than just the car, i'm also too scared to bring it in for its one year service, already expecting greasy fingerprints all over it, and in the engine bay, or a novice young mechanic on apprenticeship servicing my Stinger, instead of a technician who has been trained especially to work on Stinger only.

This is what I call premium service, and how it should have been for Stinger, especially considering the car is still to this day very rare on the roads. Enjoy.

No regrets. IMHO, I got the better car - delivery and dealership experience are secondary to me. If these enhancements were optional for the Stinger at extra cost (and the Genesis is considerably more expensive here), I would have passed.

Happy, happy ...

This Genesis video is actually very similar to my Stinger buying experience. I bought out of province and had the car shipped to me. It arrived as ordered and I didn’t set foot in the dealership I purchased it from. I also saved $4,000 in the process.

I don’t plan to take it in to Kia for service unless I have to. I’ll do my own oil changes and basic maintenance.

While the direct-from-manufacturer sales distribution model may be the future of auto sales (a good bit down the road), thus far, it has been a pretty limiting one (w/ the exception of Tesla).

With the launch of the Genesis brand in Canada and the switch in distribution method, G80 (previously Genesis) sedan sales plummeted and G70 sales have yet to catch up to that of the Stinger.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
