this is the off topic forum right? so let me start this off topic conversation. this is about the 2018 dodge durango srt. almost 500 horsepower and three rows of seats. this is a very good looking suv. i know half the people are going to say "what do you need all that power for!". that's okay. i just think it's pretty awesome that you could have a big family vehicle that holds a heck of a lot of stuff and also hauls you know what. here's an article on motor trend.

Damn, that's a potent suv! Looks sick also. Wow. I really like it. You should not have showed me this.

0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds. That IS pretty impressive. It's quick for a car and fast for an SUV. In fact it's the fifth fastest behind Bentley, Porsche, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

My thoughts, if the requirements are so diverse then it's better to have 2 different cars. Like one suv/van and one sporty sedan/coupe. Because both needs are exclusive, you should never be driving aggressively with family in your car and no matter what a sport/coupe sedan will handle much better when driving aggressively.

We test drove three of these and desperately wanted to buy one. It is a truly marvelous machine. If only my wife could've got the seat positioned comfortably. The power, V8 growl, and handling are phenomenal for any vehicle, but truly special on something this size!

? The 2nd gen Durango's had adjustable pedal travel which accommodated my vertically-challenged wifey beautifully ;)

My buddy has one, sure is fun to romp on it!

I would assume Dodge reliability will show up in the future though.

IMHO , it looks like a mini van ................didnt CaliStinger have one in red ???

That's an awesome family hauler but god damn are they ever massive, I don't think I could even talk my wife into driving one because of the size of them.

High center of gravity married to that power, a recipe for overextending your limitations, yes sir.

(And nice thread necromancy there!)

That is actually a long way from ugly.
