The Stinger also “borrows” some design ideas. Consider it flattery.

That M8 is the most balanced design from BMW in years . Looks great ! and yes I agree there are some elements in the design which flatter the Stinger but I'm sure are completely coincidental ..................

Not really thinking Kia influenced BMW ....actually other way around since BMW guys at Kia had probably seen lots of future bmw designs. Can garuntee without team of Germans at Kia Stinger would have never turned out the way it has. I think we will be in for real treat style wise from Kia in future models. Kia/Hyundai continue to bring more top talent from bmw on to their design team. Even more BMW stylers from bmw late last year. It’s a very cool development!

Agreed ...if it wasn’t pushing 6 figures I’d kick my Stinger to curb and have one in my garage!

That 8 series is a beautiful car, I was a big fan of the old one. It’s been in the works for a long time so I don’t think there’s any copying going on, I wouldn’t mine have one.
