There are few things in life that enrage me more than someone damaging your car and just leaving. It takes a real pr*ck to damage someone else's property and just drive off like that, something that isn't cheap, and something someone worked hard for.

I bought a dash cam with a camera that looks out the front and one that looks out the back and has a G-sensor in it for parking monitoring. It seems to work pretty well so hopefully if someone ever hits my car while it's parked it will record them. I seriously envy the Tesla sentry mode.

The Tesla one is pretty extensive. There are a lot of cameras on the exterior of the car so I imagine it would be near impossible to replicate aftermarket. Hopefully some day all cars will have something like this, at the very least it would be nice for them to start making dash cams built in.

My 2019 kia stinger gt1 was also involved in a hit and run in a parking lot and I was not around. But I had a front and rear dash cam installed in my car. It captured the vehicle and its license plate. I sent the video to my insurance company and my a copy for the police. The vehicle was tracked down and their insurance company paid for the damage. Now the driver has to go to court. You should get a dash cam for your Stinger. It can make things go easier and can take away some worries.

I'm an idiot. My system has been a little too sensitive and has been recording so much it's been actually filling up my memory card so I've had to wipe it to actually be able to use it while I drive. Trouble is, I noticed a nice new ding on my car but I deleted all the footage so now I'll never know.
