I hit a huge pothole in Austin today and am worried about some damage to the tire. I watched and screen that shows psi and it didn't drop on the 20 miles back home. When I got home, though, I saw this bulge in the tire. Is this something I should get repaired or replace the tire?

That tire is done. Get it replaced. Might have been a big pot hole and going fast.

Damn, thanks for the confirmation. Luckily I still have the stock tires so I can get it swapped out.

sad to see that kind of tire damage from potholes. we have lots of those in california, too.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
That sucks!! ... happened to me once on my last car, as others have said replacement is the only option

Glad I checked with Tire Rack, the tire is covered by their warranty (hopefully after they check the pics and the call from the tire shop). Ordered a new one and should be here in a few more days.
I went by the spot where the hole in the ground is and now there is an orange cone in the hole.

Do you have councils in the US? If so, I would write them a letter and ask them to reimburse you for the new tyre. Include the invoice to prove you paid for the tyre and the time and date it happened...
