Hey guys,

I'm a noob to mods. Basically I want to make a sleeper Stinger. I want it to be fast but not loud and annoying. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,

D.L.

Solution
Keeping it stock is honestly an option - it's pretty fast on its own.

But if you want to make it faster but quiet, probably black snorkels, K&N drop in filters, a black intercooler like Mishimoto/Agency Power/Wagner, Magnaflow exhaust, a WMI kit and a JB4/Lap3 would be my picks (personally prefer the JB4 for the WGDC controls, but that's just my opinion). Should still keep a low profile, but have enough unlocked airflow to fully utilize those piggybacks.

JB4 works with stock exhaust/intakes just fine

My goals are pretty similar. I like the idea of my family car being able to silently dust a car with 30 K&N stickers. And my wife wants the car to “just work.”

I put on scoops this weekend, and installed the JB4. I have a Jun BL EVC that’ll get installed in a few weeks. OCC, front and rear sways, maybe intakes, but I have K&N drop in filters installed in the stock boxes now. (I threw away the sticker.)

I’ll look into an intercooler, WMI, etc if I get to the track as much as I intend to this summer. And no lowering springs or anything; it’s not that I’m against a drop, it’s that my deeply patient wife already occasionally notes that it’s a low car.

General thoughts there. Hope it’s helpful!
